Sinfonia Cymru return to Aberystwyth in April with Classic FM’s Rising Star and former Royal Harpist, Alis Huws.

The Montgomeryshire harpist, who performed at King Charles’ Coronation, is excited for Aberystwyth, her final concert with under 30’s orchestra, Sinfonia Cymru, as she turns 30 this April.

Joining Alis are Daniel Shao (flute), Samuel Cutajar (violin), Mabon Llŷr Rhyd (viola) and Edward Mead (cello). This unusual, exceptional quintet will perform music from Wales, America, France and Belgium, showcasing exciting ways composers - including Charles Rochester Young, Guy Ropartz, Eloise Gynn and Joseph Jongen - have been writing music for the harp.
