AFTER a successful tractor run held by the Aberaeron & District Tractor Run Committee in September, proceeds were donated to several deserving causes this year.

The Chemotherapy Unit at Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth, received £5,400; Epilepsy Action Cymru, £1,600; and The First Responder Unit at Aberaeron received £2,000.

The money raised will go towards developing services for 32,000 people in Wales who have epilepsy.

Also pictured receiving a cheque from members of the committee are Eirian Gravell, haemotology nurse specialist, and Rhian Preece-Jones, lead chemotherapy nurse specialist from the chemotherapy unit at Bronglais Hospital.

The next Aberaeron & District Tractor Run will be held on 10 September at the rugby club, starting at 11am.
