A Brongest man has been banned from the road by magistrates for driving without insurance.

Benny Dore, of Cefnmaes Bach, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 5 December.

The court heard that the 39-year-old was caught driving a Volvo 850 without insurance in Brongest on 2 February this year.

Magistrates handed Dore six penalty points and disqualified him from driving for six months under the totting up procedure.

He was fined £660.

Dore must also pay £90 costs and a £264 surcharge.
