SUNDAY’S Aberystwyth Charity 10k was a fast, flat race following roads and paths but this year with a difference.

The start and finish took place in the car park by Aberystwyth Town Football Ground and runners followed the cycle path and footpaths of sections of the original route but also included the cycle path and footpaths out to and including Glanyrafon Industrial Estate.

For this year only, the route was not a certified measured route.
