A SUCCESSFUL sports day was held at Ysgol Henry Richard, Tregaron, with a number of records smashed on the day.

In total, six long-standing records were broken by Zara Evans in the long jump, 200m and 300m; Jac Hockenhul in the 800m; and Nia Rees in the high jump and 200m.

Zara also received the Victrix Ludorum trophy while fellow Year 7 pupil Drew Bryant won the Victor Ludorum.
