NATHAN Warren scored twice as free-scoring Penparcau moved nine points clear at the top of the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League with a big 6-1 win over Aberystwyth University Reserves.

Andrew Gittins, Liam Jaques, Jordon Lee and Lee Jones also scored to keep Arky flying high at the top, whilst Gytis Pivnickas netted for the Aber students.

Paul Keegan and Tegid Owen both scored twice as Padarn United showed great character to come back from two goals down to register a 7-3 win at Bont.

Sion Pugh, Paul James and an own goal completed Padarn’s tally, whilst Trevor Jenkins, Sion Jones and Charlie Parr got onto the scoresheet for the home side.
