DOLGELLAU captain Jon Sutton made his first start of the season in the Wasps 2-1 win at Llandrindod Wells in the Ardal North East on Saturday.

The influential veteran said: "It was nice to be back, it had been a long time.

“I think every single one of us put in a good shift, dug in and worked hard.”

Dol will be looking to build on that result when the host Chirk AAA at the Marian on Saturday with a 2.30pm kick-off.

Goals by Osian Morris and Will Gruffydd secured the three points for Dolgellau on Saturday.
