Last Thursday at The Marian there was a junior schools festival organised by Cricket Wales, who were represented by their North Wales administrator Steve Williams from Llandudno.

Twelve teams of eight took part in the soft ball tournament.

Ysgol Maenofferen from Blaenau Ffestiniog were the winning team defeating runners-up Ysgol Y Traeth from Barmouth in a close final.
