PUPILS have designed a new safety sign to slow down motorists outside their school.

An art competition for road safety signs was held at Ysgol Edmwnd Prys. Pupils from the primary school in Gellilydan recently participated in a drawing competition to create 20mph signs which will be placed at each end of the main road to the school entrance.

The pictures received were of a “very high standard” with the Transport and Countryside organisation announcing that the winners were Dylan and Iolo.
