WALES could face all-British final in Cardiff after their opponents for the World Cup Final play-offs were announced this afternoon.

Cymru will play Austria in a play-off semi-final on Thursday, 24 March next year at Cardiff City Stadium.

Should Rob Page see his team progress, they will play Scotland or Ukraine in the Play-Off Final on Tuesday, 29 March, again in Cardiff.

Rob Page watched the draw in Zurich live from Parc Y Scarlets ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier between Cymru and Greece later this evening.

The FAW says ticketing information for these matches will be confirmed in due course.

Tickets will be sold subject to the FAW’s loyalty scheme (full details are to be determined), with members of The Red Wall receiving priority.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be played in Qatar between 21 November and 18 December. The final draw is expected to be held in April 2022.
