VISITORS to Ynyslas are being asked not to park their vehicles on the beach at certain times this week due to spring tides.
After coastguards and police helped remove 14 submerged cars at the nature reserve, staff are asking visitors to be aware of the high tides due before 11.30am and after 7pm all week.
An announcement on the Dyfi Ynyslas Nature Reserve Facebook page reads: “Between Friday, 21 July, and Friday, 28 July, there are some large tides that will flood the car parking area for some of the day, please ensure your car is not on the parking area for these times.
“Please see entrance warning sign for detail or consult tide tables. The high tides for this period are in the morning before 11.30am and in the evening after 7pm.”
