Meirionnydd YFC held their new sheepdog trails competition at Trawsfynydd Sheepdog Trials on 17 August.

This competition had not taken place within Meirionnydd YFC for many years and it is a welcomed competition within the YFC Calendar.

Six members competed at this highly competitive and challenging sport and Meirionnydd YFC was grateful for the support of Trawsfynydd Sheepdog Trails and Prysor and Eden YFC in hosting the competition to allow the young competitors to demonstrate the craft and skill between shepherd and his dog

Ffion Williams, Meirionnydd YFC county organiser said: “A big congratulations to all the members that were competing. The standard was very high and the relationship between dog and handler was remarkable."
