Reading in the Cambrian News (1 April) the report about Aberdyfi being named one of the best places to live in Wales, it’s not a surprise considering its vast sandy beaches, excellent independent shops and businesses and still the genuine unspoilt support services and views.

But what about Tywyn with all its history, beach and independent businesses. I know it wasn’t mentioned in the television documentary with the Cambrian Coast railway as one of the most scenic railways, but Tywyn should still be one of the best places to live in Wales.
