Inner Wheel

THE INNER Wheel Club of Tywyn met at Aberdovey Golf Club on Thursday, 10 December. President Chris Lewis welcomed members and reported on the very successful American Thanksgiving lunch at Y Garth, Talgarth. The lunch was an interclub occasion shared with Aberystwyth and ex-Machynlleth members.The club made a donation to the district appeal for aid of the victims of the floods in Cumbria and Lancashire.The international charity donation was made by naming a doll that raised £77. The government will match fund. The money raised will be sent to Deliver Life which is a part of Water Aid.

Following a delicious Christmas lunch we were entertained by sketches by Jane Pearson, Rita Sidebotham, Wyn Botterill and Meg Jones. Carols were sung accompanied by Jane Pearson.Chris ended the meeting by wishing everyone a Happy Christmas and New Year.
