A MEIRIONNYDD town council has secured two grants to improve two play parks.

Blaenau Ffestiniog Town Council will use the grants to buy new play equipment for the two parks.

“Bryn Coed will get a brand new zip line at the site in February,” a town council spokesperson explained.

“This comes after we also installed a brand new bird’s nest swing and safer stepping stones at the play area.

“At the park at the square we will be removing the old and tired wood climbing trail and replacing it with a brand new multi-use frame and roundabout, with both pieces of equipment suitable for wheelchair users.”
