Pwllheli singer, Dylan Morris, hopes his new CD might make its way into a few Christmas stockings.
The 42-year-old who shot to fame in lockdown has released his first full album with Sain Records.
Dani Ar Yr Un Lôn follows his successful EP Haul Ar Fryn.
Produced by Aled Wyn Hughes, Dylan has teamed up with a number of musicians and friends to create an album of varied and personal songs – Aled on bass, Arfon Wyn on guitar, Nest Llewelyn on piano and background vocals, Gwion Llewelyn on the drums, Euron Jôs on steel pedal guitar, Elin Taylor on cello and Nia Wyn, background vocals.
The release of this album has been a catalyst for Dylan to write lyrics for the first time. Dagrau Yn Y Glaw is a personal tribute to his grandfather, who influenced him so much.
It's been a busy 18 months for the IT manager. Dylan loves singing and had done a bit of karaoke and taken part in a couple of open mic nights before lockdown, but after sharing videos of himself singing on the Côr-ona Facebook page, the father-of-three became so popular that he released an EP.
Now he is looking forward to selling his first full album, and you can read more about that in the Cambrian News Arfon/Dwyfor and Meirionnydd editions on Thursday.
And if you are looking for a last minute present, Dylan’s album is available on the Sain website, in many local Welsh shops and on his website, www.dylanmorrismusic.co.uk
