A 33-year-old man has been charged with domestic violence offences following an alleged incident in Penrhyndeudraeth on 10 February.

Matthew Williams, of Cae Mawr, Penrhyndeudraeth, appeared at Caernarfon Magistrates Court earlier today, Tuesday, 11 February, charged with intentional suffocation, assault, threats to kill, three counts of assault on an emergency worker.

He has been remanded to appear at Caernarfon Crown Court on 17 March.
