Hanes Emlyn History

THE EXHIBITIONS are still open due to popular demand.

They are open from Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 2.30pm.

Alongside the Then & Now photo exhibition, there are some new items, including a record of every gravestone and memorial to those who fell in the First World War over a five-mile radius from Newcastle Emlyn.

Putting names to people on our photographs created quite a bit of interest and discussion among the people who visited.

The group still have some group photographs from Henllan Modern School and early Ysgol Gyfun Emlyn groups that need names call in and see us.

The group thanked people who brought in even more photographs for the collection.

There will be an open Victorian evening when the displays will include old Victorian photographs.

The usual diehards are still to be seen, enhanced by computer displays.
