North Wales Fire and Rescue Service has hosted a Dementia Friendly walk in partnership with Dementia Active Gwynedd and Age and Dementia Friendly Holywell.
The walk took place at Bodnant Garden NT/YG Gardd Bodnant, to coincide with World Alzheimer’s Month.
“As well as raising awareness, these walks help give us an opportunity to engage directly with those living with dementia, and talk to them and their carers about staying safe from fire in the home,” a fire service spokesperson said.
