Madam,

I would like to praise both the efficiency and professionalism of the Royal Mail in Porthmadog.

We had lost contact with a very dear elderly friend who, in her desperation to make contact with us, had addressed the envelope: ‘Alan and Ruth Tams, (Late of Llangollen), Now living in Porthmadog, Please can you find their address (I lost it)’.

Incredibly the letter arrived at our home in five days!

Well done Royal Mail.
