New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Gwynedd’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Ship Aground, at Talsarnau was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on 29 February.

The Anglesey Arms Ltd, at Anglesey Hotel, Caernarfon, was given a score of two, also on 29 February.

It means that of Gwynedd's 145 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 128 (88 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
