YSGOL Penweddig, Aberystwyth welcomed Professor David Reynolds CBE as part of its training programme for staff.

Prof Reynolds is professor in education at Southampton University and a leading figure in education research. He is the Welsh Assembly Government’s senior policy advisor on education.

Prof Reynolds spoke about latest developments in teaching and the impact of teaching strategies on pupils’ learning.

Gwenallt Ifan, headteacher, said: “We are very fortunate to have Prof Reynolds to give us an insight into the very cutting edge of modern teaching.”
