Pupils at two more south Ceredigion schools have been asked to self-isolate for 14 days after positive coronavirus cases.
Pupils in Years 12 and 13 at Ysgol Bro Pedr, Lampeter and in the Nursery and Reception class at Ysgol Henry Richard, Tregaron will all be sent home for two weeks following the confirmation of a Covid-19 case at each school.
At Lampeter, some staff will also be asked to self-isolate.
The pupils at Ysgol Bro Pedr will be taught remotely until the end of term. Pupils travelling on the same bus as the confirmed positive case have also been contacted and asked to self-isolate for 14 days “as a precautionary measure”.
Those pupils come from more than one year group from Ysgol Bro Pedr. All parents at both schools have been contacted and informed.
