THREE primary schools in Dwyfor and Meirionnydd have been given the thumbs up from the schools inspectorate.
Estyn have recently released reports for Ysgol Penybryn, Tywyn; Ysgol Maenofferen, Blaenau Ffestiniog and Ysgol Borth-y-Gest, Porthmadog with all the schools receiving positive reports.
Each school attained ‘good’ for their current performance and ‘good’ for their prospects for improvement.
The only ranking which supersedes ‘good’ on the inspectors’ ranking is ‘excellent’ which is a relatively rare occurrence.
