A third Ceredigion school has reported a coronavirus case today.
The council announced this afternoon that a small number of pupils at Ysgol Bro Pedr, Lampeter, have been asked to self-isolate for 14 days following the confirmation of a Covid-19 case at the school.
All confirmed contacts of the positive case must remain at home for 14 days, along with all pupils who were travelling on the same bus as the confirmed positive case.
These pupils come from more than one year group.
All parents have been contacted by the school.
This afternoon’s confirmed case follows the announcements this morning of cases at Ysgol Gynradd Aberaeron’s nursery class and at Ysgol Bro Teifi in Llandysul.
It comes after pupils in Years 12 and 13 at Ysgol Bro Pedr and in the Nursery and Reception class at Ysgol Henry Richard, Tregaron were sent home yesterday for two weeks, following the confirmation of a Covid-19 case at each school.
