A crime drama filmed in and around Blaenau Ffestiniog will return to screens next week.

The second series of Hidden (Craith) was filmed in both Welsh and English and months on from its debut on S4C, the show will appear on BBC One Wales tomorrow, Tuesday, 11 February at 9pm.

This series takes viewers to the slate-strewn corners of Blaenau Ffestiniog, where a brutal murder has taken place.

DCI Cadi John (Sian Reese-Williams) and DS Owen Vaughan (Sion Alun Davies), return alongside a host of new characters.

Sian Reese-Williams said: “Series two picks up around nine months after series one ends. We find Cadi trying to deal with the grief of losing her father, while trying to keep her head in her work.

“It was just so great to come back and revisit a character to see how she’d changed in that time. And it was a joy to be working with the same team again – we’d all been so proud of the work we’d achieved with series one, so for us all to come back together for a second series was really exciting.”
