A WOMAN will stand trial later this year after appearing in court to deny assaulting a police officer in Ceredigion.
Ezme Rouse, of no fixed abode, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court last week.
The 28-year-old pleaded not guilty to assaulting Pc 961 McGowan in Blaenporth on 10 January.
Rouse is due to stand trial for the charge at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 6 April.
She was remanded on unconditional bail until that date.
