A Talsarn man will stand trial later this year after denying a charge of drink driving.

Joshua Lewes, of Llanllyr, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on 22 May.

The 24-year-old pleaded not guilty to being behind the wheel of a VW Passat while above the legal drink drive limit on the A485 between Tregaron and Lampeter on 10 October last year.

Lewes is due to stand trial at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on 25 July and was remanded on unconditional bail.
