A Ponterwyd 21-year-old who threatened a woman with an air pistol has been handed a suspended jail sentence.

Jakub Borzym, of Ty Ni, had pleaded guilty to possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence by threatening Madina Kalic with a black air pistol in Felinfach on 27 May this year and was sentenced at Swansea Crown Court on Monday, 22 July.

Borzym was jailed for six months, suspended for 12 months, and must complete rehabilitation.
