A Penparcau man will stand trial next month after appearing in court to deny an assault charge.

Jonathan Williams, of 24 Heol y Wern, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 21 August.

The 52-year-old pleaded not guilty at the hearing to assaulting Chris Price in Comins Coch on 21 April this year.

Williams is next due to appear to stand trial at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 10 October.

Magistrates remanded Williams on conditional bail until that hearing date.
