A man who admitted drinking in Plwmp has been banned from the road for 17 months.
Samuel Williams, of 240 Camp Hill Road, Nuneaton, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 28 August.
The 39-year-old admitted driving a Ford Transit while almost twice the legal limit on the A487 at Plwp on 10 August this year.
Magistrates disqualified Williams from driving for 17 months and fined him £438.
He must also pay costs of £85 as well as an £80 surcharge.
