A man charged with rape and sexual assault at an Aberystwyth University halls of residence has been found not guilty following a Crown Court trial.

Alex Monnox, of 5 Tygwyn, Minllyn, Mawddwy Terrace, Dinas Mawddwy, appeared for trial before Swansea Crown Court on 31 October charged with sexual assault and rape at the Fferm Penglais university residences on 12 October 2021.
He was found not guilty by a jury.
