A man has been remanded in custody by magistrates after appearing in court charged with the burglary of a home in Aberystwyth.

Williams MacPherson, of no fixed abode, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on 8 March.

The 41-year-old is charged with the burglary of a house in Portland Road in Aberystwyth on 4 March.

MacPherson is next due to appear at Swansea Crown Court on 8 April and was remanded in custody by magistrates until that hearing date.
