A Llanybydder man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with assault and threats to kill.

Silviu Grigore, of Flat, The Laurels, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on 20 May.

The 35-year-old is charged with assaulting and making threats to kill against Mariana Grigore between 17 and 19 May this year.

Grigore is next due to appear before Swansea Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 21 June and was remanded in custody until that date.
