A Llanon man has been fined after admitting assaulting a police officer.
Amir Kawa, of 37 Cylch Peris, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court last week.
The 41-year-old pleaded guilty to assaulting Pc Dimolarev in Bow Street on 11 May.
Kawa was fined £80 and handed a 14 month community order to include up to 20 days of rehabilitation activities.
He must also pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85 as well as a surcharge to fund victim services of £114.
