A Llangurig woman has been fined after being caught behind the wheel while using a mobile phone.
Llanelli Magistrates’ Court heard on 11 September that Fiona Hayward, of Ffynnon Las, was caught using a mobile phone while driving a Mitsubishi Mirage on the A4811 near Newtown on 20 April this year.
Magistrates fined Hayward £276 and endorsed her driving licence with six penalty points.
She must also pay prosecution costs of £110 and a victim fund surcharge of £110.
