A Lampeter man has been fined by magistrates after pleading guilty to assault.
Shane Griffiths, of 41 Bryn yr Eglwys, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 7 November.
The 19-year-old had initially denied assaulting Daniel Weston in Rhydyfelin on 1 June but changed his plea to guilty ahead of a planned trial.
Magistrates handed Griffiths a fine of £135.
He must also pay prosecution costs of £100 as well as a surcharge to fund victim services of £54.
