A PENPARCAU man who drove at 50mph through Llanon has been fined by magistrates.

Llanelli Magistrates’ Court heard on 17 February that Nathan Rhys Jackson, of 51 Heol Tyn-Y-Fron, was clocked by police laser driving at 50mph on the 30mph limit A487 through Llanon at just after 11pm on 17 August last year.

Magistrates fined the 23-year-old £302 and handed him six penalty points.

He must also pay £90 costs and a surcharge of £120.
