A Ciliau Aeron man has been banned from the road for a year after admitting drug driving.
Thomas Guest, of Bronydd, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 17 July.
The court heard that the 22-year-old was caught driving with cannabis in his system on the A482 at Temple Bar on 1 February this year.
Magistrates disqualified Guest from driving for 12 months and handed him a £120 fine.
He must also pay £85 costs and a surcharge of £48.
