A Cardigan man has been fined by magistrates for breaching a restraining order.

Stephen McGann, of 3 Briscwm Cottages, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on 4 April.

The 50-year-old admitted breaching a restraining order imposed by Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on 5 June last year by “asking a third party to pass on a message to the victim” at the Saddlers Arms in Cardigan on 24 March this year.

Magistrates handed McGann a fine of £200.

He must also pay £85 costs.
