An Aberystwyth woman has been handed a community order after assaulting a man in the town.

Tina Loveridge, of 6 Bryn yr Eglwys, Gray’s Inn Road, appeared for sentencing at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 14 March.

At an earlier hearing the 26-year-old had pleaded guilty to assaulting Luke Matthews in Aberystwyth on 5 March.

Loveridge was handed a community order to include 40 hours of unpaid work and a 90 day alcohol ban.

She must also pay £85 costs.
