An Aberystwyth man has been fined after pleading guilty to possession of ketamine.

Steffan Evans, of 12 The Nook, Dinas Terrace, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 9 October.

The 23-year-old admitted possession of 0.99g of ketamine at Cardigan police station on 3 March this year.

Magistrates fined Evans £184.

He must also pay prosecution costs of £85 as well as a surcharge to fund victim services of £74.

Magistrates also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
