A Llanllwni teenager has banned from the road for a year after being caught drink driving.
Aled Williams, of Clyniau, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 25 September.
The 18-year-old was caught drink driving in a Citreon on the A487 at Aberaeron on 7 September, the court heard.
Magistrates disqualified Williams from driving for 12 months and handed him a fine of £100.
He must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £40.
