A man has been sentenced to 26 weeks in jail for criminal damage and assaulting a police officer in Barmouth.
Simon John Woodcock of no fixed address, appeared at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The 51-year-old was arrested on Friday, 7 August.
He was charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Park Road, Barmouth, of causing £106 worth of damage to a police cell in Caernarfon and of assault by beating of an emergency worker.
Woodcock assaulted custody sergeant PS 2271 Davies.
