A LLANBADARN Fawr councillor has welcomed a decision for a housing estate road to be adopted by Ceredigion Council.
Council Cabinet members backed a report calling for the Cae Ceredig estate road and cul-de-sac spurs to be adopted by the council so the road will be maintained by the council.
That decision has been welcomed by local councillor Paul James, who said he had been pushing for the council to adopt the road for a significant time, with the backing of residents.
Cllr James said: “I’m very pleased that at long last the Cae Ceredig estate adoption report has been approved as it’s been a long time in coming to fruition. However, we got there in the end.
“I would also like to thank the residents of the Cae Ceredig estate for their patience and understanding concerning this adoption process which has been a bit of a long haul, as the development, was a phased development over around a 10-year period."
