South Gwynedd Long Term Health & Chronic Conditions Alliance

A MEETING of the alliance was held at Dolgellau Hospital on Monday, 25 September.

There were representatives from several organisations present.

One new member, Angharad ap Iorwerth, was welcomed who has started her post with Age Cymru Gwynedd & Môn on 1 September.

Some very useful information was shared by representatives of the organisations present and they reported on various committees they had attended.

At the meeting, the annual Good Health Event was discussed.

This will be held at Glan Wnion Leisure Centre, Dolgellau on Friday, 13 October.

There will be over 40 organisations present on the day.

Everyone is welcome to call in any time between 10am and 2pm.

Dr Peter Higson, OBE, chair of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board will be opening the event.

The next meeting of the alliance will be held in March 2018 at Dolgellau Hospital (date to be confirmed).
