THE guest for St David’s Day was historian Michael Freeman from Ceredigion Museum.
Michael gave an interesting and informative talk on the history of the Welsh hat.
They were joined by members from Cilcennin and Felinfach WI and all enjoyed a scrumptious buffet supplied by members.
On 21 March, the guest speaker was Tim Newby, head gardener at the National Trust Llanerchaeron. Tim gave a talk and slides showing the history of the Walled garden and how it has evolved over the years.
The next meeting is on 18 April, and an extended welcome is made to any new members who wish to join.
