Final performance
Huge applause and cheers were heard at Neuadd Dyfi on Saturday, 4 February as the curtain came down at the sixth and final performance of Aberdyfi Players’ 2018 panto – Aladdin and his Magical Lamp.
Des George from Aberdyfi Players said: “After 25 years, our panto is still going strong and becoming more popular and successful every year.
“The feedback from Aladdin this year has been absolutely delightful – we had wonderful audiences at each performance, practically a full house for each show and their appreciation and enthusiasm to ‘join in’ helps to make each performance special.
“Everyone in Aberdyfi Players has worked extremely hard over the last few months to produce the best panto we possibly could.
“A special mention must go to our wonderful ‘Dragons’ who were made by the majority of our Junior Chorus under the watchful eye of Zoe Matthews from Machynlleth Lantern fame with the aid of a Gwynedd Council Community Arts Fund grant.”
