THE Christian Aid Collection for Henfynyw and Ffosyffin totalled £437.14 and was made by members of Henfynyw Church.

Bridge club

THE winners on 24 May were Dylan RawRees and Mike Fellows, with mother and daughter Marion and Claire Dixon visiting from Rugby and Keith Bellamy and Gill Howells joint second.

In the Wednesday afternoon session, a weak two spades opening followed by a four spades game response not only made but stopped the opponents finding their heart fit which can actually make 12 tricks.

Aberaeron Bridge Club meets in the Royal British Legion Hall each Thursday at 6.40pm.

Afternoon tuition for beginners and improvers is being held on Wednesdays starting at 1pm in the Royal British Legion Hall.
