CRICCIETH RNLI have been presented with a cheque of £250 from a kind-hearted campsite owner.
Richard Workman from Shell Island Campsite visited Criccieth RNLI lifeboat station on Friday, 16 December to present them with the cheque.
Shell Island Campsite at Mochras is one of Wales’ busiest campsites and is situated across the bay from Criccieth.
It represents the southernmost point of Criccieth RNLI Lifeboats’ normal area of operation.
Both of Criccieth’s Lifeboat have attended many calls near the site over the past few years. The donation was recognition of the Lifeboats’ services attended during 2016 by Criccieth RNLI.
After the presentation, Criccieth’s lifeboat operations manager, Peter Williams said: “I’d like to thank Richard and his colleagues at Shell Island for their generous gift.
"Thankfully, those employed at the campsite have a good understanding of our Station’s capabilities and will call for our assistance when required.”
